WindBorne is looking for someone like you to launch high altitude, long duration weather balloons. These balloons fly higher than airplanes and capture atmospheric data which can better predict weather from hurricanes to wildfires. WindBorne Systems was founded to improve weather forecasting, and by launching balloons for us you could be an integral part of that advancement.

• Pay is $25/hr (Each launch takes 30 minutes, and 50 launches are planned per week).
• Contract period is from now to July 31st with the possibility to convert to a permanent contract.
• Looking to hire ASAP for a daytime schedule with a 7:00 AM start.
• Position requires availability 5 days per week, including occasional weekends. Back-to-back weekend days off can be arranged if preferred.
• American Citizenship Required.

• Excellent at following a prescribed process
• Fast and detailed communications skills
• Hands-on technical competency and comfortable working with computers
• Experience working with compressed gas cylinders is a big plus, but not required
