WindBorne is hiring a Customer Success Specialist to join our Growth Team and ensure top notch contract execution. At the nexus of business development, engineering, and finance, you will be responsible for ensuring WindBorne’s contractual and business development strategic success through constant collaboration and operational precision. In this role, you’ll drive customer relationships, track contract deadlines, facilitate deliverables, manage invoicing, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Be the glue that drives contract execution, ensuring deliverables, timelines, and technical team engagement stay on track
  • Lead customer meetings to ensure satisfaction, build technical understanding, and to align on future deliverables
  • Liaise with external customer end users to scope contract activity, and with technical internal stakeholders to ensure feasibility and successful execution
  • Define and implement structured processes for contract lifecycle management, including organizing meetings across Business, Operations and Meteorology teams 
  • Own the propagation of business development strategy in post-purchase stages
  • Coordinate with Finance team to create and submit invoices through various customer systems

Skills and Qualifications

Required

  • Obsession with detail and organization
  • Enthusiasm for technical details, whether the physics of weather balloons or nuances of AI modeling, and becoming the go-to expert on all things to contract management
  • Project management experience and particular wizardry with managing multiple projects at once–coordinating chaos is your superpower!
  • Dynamic interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt in the moment to customer needs and requests
  • Professional-level written and verbal communication expertise
  • High-level proficiency with MS Office or Google Workspace documents, spreadsheets, and slides

Nice to have

  • Prior experience with government or commercial contract management
  • Prior experience at an early-stage startup 
  • Prior experience in sales
